Sabres Experiment With New Ice and Nets

The Buffalo Sabres have been experimenting with new nets and by changing the ice color. The new nets are designed to make it easier for players to score goals. They have a bowed shape on the cross bar, and on the sides. "They are designed to be wider. In fact, even Andy LaPietra should be able to score on these goals." Amerks defense man Jeff Jillson remarked.

New "LaPietra Width" Net

They are still in the experimental stage, and it is unknown what effect this will have on the goal scoring frequency of other skaters, such as the occasional Puerto Rican hockey players.

The Sabres have also experimented with changing the ice color to blue. The intent is to make the puck easier to see. The "Blue Line" has also been changed to an orange color and all the lines have been widened.

At the current time, it is unknown what effect this will have on Imre Knausz skating off sides, or Larry's slow back-checking.

Musings of a Lush...

The following are the thoughts of a man who was hung out to dry at the bar early friday night, and was forced to finish that first pitcher on his own. A man who continued to drink when his friends arrived. A man who felt it was his duty to play hockey, even though he could hardly stand, let alone skate, when he was sober. A man who somehow is riding a two game scoring streak. It's non other than Josean, of "Josean and the Pussy Cats".

And now, "the letter":

Me So Sorry...

Peace...
